Devara Part 1 Worldwide Box Office Collection: Actor Jr NTR’s latest actioner had an expected Monday drop, where the film saw its first major dip after an excellent weekend across the board. The film recorded a fall of a massive 68 percent in its collections on Monday, with the Hindi version performing the best.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Devara on Monday netted Rs 12.5 cr in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam after the big Sunday collections, where the figures were nearly Rs 40 cr all-India nett.

Out of the Rs 12.5 cr on Monday, Telugu collections were at Rs 8 cr, a huge dip from its Sunday collections of Rs 27.7 cr. Except for Hindi, other languages versions pretty much crashed, earning less than a crore. It was the dubbed Hindi collections, which came down to Rs 4 cr after a big Sunday of Rs 10 cr.

Traditionally, all South Indian films get longer legs at the box office with their Hindi version, which continue to be stable from Monday onwards– while their original language versions are more front loaded, boosting the openings. Devara seems to be trending in a similar fashion, with Hindi collections holding well.

What the Hindi version of Devara has also done, is to show the hold of Jr NTR in the masses. Despite a low-key campaign, the film has netted over Rs 30 cr at the Hindi box office and the film is likely to end its run over Rs 50 cr, signaling acceptance, particularly from the mass belts.

The performance of the film has led the way for Jr NTR to arrive in the Hindi market in a bigger way with his Bollywood debut War 2. The film, gearing up for an August 2025 release, will see him face off with Hrithik Roshan.

The Kortala Siva directorial will now enjoy a free run, especially at the Hindi box office, with no new releases till Alia Bhatt fronted Jigra, which comes out in cinemas on October 11. Despite the big fall on Monday, the film is likely to pack a punch again on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti. With a holiday coming in on its fifth day, the film might again pick pace at the box office and record a big jump.

Devara marks the Telugu debut of both Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. The film also stars Prakashraj, Meka Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, and Murali Sharma. The film was initially announced as a standalone movie but was later split into two parts.
