Director Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, was released on September 9, 2022 to strong response at the box office. The film ended with a tease for a sequel, titled Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev. The director, who has been keeping a low profile since the film’s release, on Saturday shared some concept art for the next instalment.
The images show Dev, with his trident, fighting a more immense evil. In the next slide, Amrita, with the power of water, joins forces with Dev. The third slide, however, gives an indication that Shiva, who is the son of Dev and Amita, has the combined powers of his parents, and will fight Dev.
Ayan wrote in the caption, “BRAHMĀSTRA – PART TWO: DEV Early Concept Art Work. Has been a few months of working steadily on the Vision and Story for Brahmāstra 2 & 3!On this special day for Team Brahmāstra, felt like sharing a few key images of our Inspiration #brahmastra2 #DEV.”

At the box office, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva had a solid start with Rs 43 crore on day one in India. The film had brought an end to a dull period for Bollywood films, inviting strong footfalls across the country.
