‘Piku’, Shoojit Sircar’s family comedy drama that brings together Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan for the first time, has been in news ever since it went on floors in August 2014. Billed as the quirkiest take on a father-daughter relationship, ‘Piku’ will show us the three talent stars in their craziest avatars. It is also Deepika’s first standalone title role.

Now we hear that the countdown has begun for ‘Piku’s trailer as it will be attached with YRF’s most awaited summer release ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ directed by Dibakar Banerjee and featuring Sushant Singh Rajput.

‘Piku’, produced by MSM Motion Pictures in association with Saraswati Creations and Rising Sun Films, will be distributed worldwide by YRF. The film hits the theaters on May 8, 2015.
