Alia Bhatt shares unseen pic of herself clicked by husband Ranbir Kapoor: ‘He’s my most fav photographer’

Actor Alia Bhatt interacted with her fans recently on social media. She answered their questions about her display picture on Instagram and also about her favourite song from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Actor Alia Bhatt conducted an Ask Me Anything session on her Instagram account, where she revealed her favourite song from her recently released film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and also shared the name of the photographer behind her Instagram display picture.

A fan asked Alia, ‘Did Ranbir click the picture that is your current display picture?’ She replied with another photo of herself, which is probably from Maasai Mara, Kenya, where her now-husband Ranbir Kapoor had proposed to her for marriage and wrote, “Yes!!! Even this one… he’s my most fav photographer..EVER!!”

Alia had spoken about Ranbir’s marriage proposal on Koffee With Karan. She had shared how he left her surprised on their trip to Maasai Mara. “He didn’t tell anyone. He just carried the ring and he did it in the most amazing place, Maasai Mara. She said that when she was still recovering from Ranbir’s surprise proposal, he revealed that he had asked the guide to take photos as well which further blew her away. “He had planted our guide to take the picture also,” she said.

During the AMA session, Alia also shared her favourite song from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani album. In response, she shared a picture of herself from the song “Kudmayi”. The song appeared during the end credits of the Karan Johar directorial.

While releasing the song ‘Kudmayi’ after the film’s release, Karan revealed that this particular song was picturised in April 2022, just a few days after Alia tied the knot with actor Ranbir Kapoor in real life.

He said, “Alia and Ranbir got married, and four days after that we were shooting our sequence with Ranveer and Alia. So in that week, Alia Bhatt got married twice, one in real life and one in reel life. And the mehndi that Alia Bhatt’s character has in the scene is the same mehendi that she had in her wedding celebrations with Ranbir Kapoor. We just darkened it. And we shot that song ‘Kudmayi’ in Jaisalmer and Vaibhavi Merchant picturised it beautifully.”

Alia is currently riding high on the success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Her Hollywood debut film Heart of Stone, also starring Gal Gadot, has also released on Netflix.
