Aditya Roy Kapur can’t decide if he’s in a relationship or situationship with Ananya Panday; fails to recognise Chunky Panday’s work

Karan Johar recently hosted Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoo on the latest episode of Koffee with Karan. Though they didn’t spill major gossip, Aditya blushed and played it coy when asked about his rumored relationship with Ananya Panday. He didn’t confirm the rumor but praised Ananya.

On the show, Karan asked, “Rumour has it that you are dating Ananya Panday?” Aditya replied and said, “Karan, you said on your show, ‘Ask me no secrets and I’ll tell you no lies’. I remember this.” The filmmaker then told Aditya that Ananya said on his show that she was feeling “very Ananya Coy Kapur.” Replying to this, Aditya said, “And I am Aditya Joy Kapur as of now.” Karan countered his answer and said, “You mean you’re joyously in a situationship?” Aditya said, “I’m quite joyous.” He also said that Ananya is ‘bliss’ and ‘pure joy.’ A situationship is an undefined romantic relationship between two people that often lacks commitment.

In Aditya’s rapid fire round, Karan asked him “What would you do if you were stuck in a lift with Shraddha Kapoor and Ananya Panday.” However, Arjun gave a reply and said, “Aashiqui toh karta, par kisse woh pata nahi.” When Aditya amusingly looked at Arjun, the 2 States actor said, “I am joking” in Chunky Panday’s famous ‘Aakhri Pasta’ style and Aditya failed to get the reference.

When Aditya won the hamper for the rapid fire round, Arjun said, “There could be some Aakhri Pasta inside.” Replying to this, Aditya said, “Maybe, let’s see.” Arjun looked at Karan and said, “He doesn’t even know that.” Karan said, “You will have Aakhri pasta with Ananya after she sees this episode because you have not done adequate research on her daddy dearest.” Karan and Arjun teased Aditya for not knowing enough about his rumored girlfriend’s dad. When asked if he had seen Chunky’s film Aag He Aag, Aditya just said, “Sorry.”

Ananya and Aditya have been rumoured to be dating for a while now. The couple is often spotted together at the airports and events.
