South Africa's David miller started his career when he was just 17 years old. Known for his power-hitting, the left-handed batsman debuted for the Dolphins in 2007-08 season. In his first season, he could not contribute much. But he changed the tone in the next year, as he scored 374 runs. His performance saw him being picked for the South Africa 'A' team for a limited overs series against Bangladesh 'A'. He was called for the national side in 2010 during Proteas' tour to West Indies. But his stature grew after the 2013 edition of IPL in which he scored 418 runs at an average of 59.71, smashing three fifties and a hundred, for Kings XI Punjab. After a brilliant season, he became a regular customer for South Africa in the limited-overs cricket. In 105 ODis, he has scored 2,503 runs at an average of 37.92 with a strike rate of 101.13.
