Set in the 1980s, this comic thriller follows Inspector Madhukar Bapurao Zende, an ordinary cop with an extraordinary sense of justice, as he takes on the ultimate challenge of his career – hunting down the notorious international criminal Carl Bhojraj, the Swimsuit Killer.’ Armed with a 15-year-old photograph of the criminal, Zende embarks on a cat-and-mouse chase that will eventually become urban legend.

The winner of the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 1985, Rob Epstein’s The Times of Harvey Milk documents the political career of Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay public officials in the United States of America. Following its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival in 1984, it was subsequently screened at a number of major film festivals, winning the Special Jury Prize at Sundance. “Produced following Milk’s assassination in 1978, the film uses original interviews, archival footage and exclusive documentary footage to show Milk’s neighborhood activist beginnings, his ascent as a symbol of gay political achievement, and his journey until his devastating assassination in 1978,” says the MUBI synopsis.

To get back home, they’ll have to master the terrain while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected crafter named Steve. The fantasy, adventure comedy, based on the video game Minecraft, is directed Jared Hess. The film features Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks and Emma Myers and Jennifer Coolidge in key roles. It will be available to steam on September 4.

Inspired by Ruskin Bond’s moving short story, The Eyes Have It, the film follows the tender and often humorous journey of Jahaan (Vikrant Massey), a gifted blind musician, and Saba (Shanaya Kapoor, in her debut), a spirited aspiring actress chasing her dreams. Their chance encounter on a train sparks an unexpected connection, one not built on sight, but on shared dreams, heartfelt moments, and a delightful push-and-pull chemistry that’s as funny as it is touching. The film will be available for streaming from September 5. The film produced by Mini Films and directed by Santosh Singh, recieved mixed reviews when released in theatres.

This new series follows The Tinder Swindler’s Cecilie Fjellhøy as she helps victims reclaim their lives. “Financial scams are nothing new, but romance fraud — where con artists use fake personas to gain someone’s love and trust in order to steal their money — has been on the rise in recent years, especially with the popularization of dating apps,” says its synopsis. In the series premiering on Septembe 5, former romance fraud victim Cecilie Fjellhøy teams up with private investigator Brianne Joseph to delve into real schemes on behalf of women and men who can’t find help through traditional avenues.
