Kiku Sharda recalls not picking mother’s last phone call while in US, she passed away the next day: ‘My father died 45 days later’

Comedian Kiku Sharda broke down, sharing how he lost his mother two years ago when he was in the US, urged everyone to be close to their loved ones.

In the latest episode of Rise and Fall, two workers had to exit the show. Social media influencer Noorin Sha was evicted by The Rulers, while wrestler Sangeeta Phogat left the show due to a family emergency. Sangeeta Phogat made an emotional exit from the show after her father-in-law passed away; however, her exit left others quite disturbed. Comedian Kiku Sharda, who recently became a worker, also became upset regarding Sangeeta’s situation and recalled the time he lost his mother.

Later, Kubbra and all were discussing, where the Sacred Games actress said, “You are here and something like this happens, it’s the worst.” Kiku Sharda got emotional and shared, “I was in the US two years back and my mother passed away. You take time to come to terms, you are at the airport, you are an actor, and people keep coming to you for photos.” He cries and adds, “I didn’t answer her last phone call, I was in America, I thought I would call her tomorrow since I was busy, and the next day she was not there. 45 days later, my father died; he couldn’t handle the loss. After a certain age, your partner is irreplaceable. I don’t know about everyone’s life, but please be close to your loved ones, spend time with them, call them, stay in touch.”

Over the weekend, host Ashneer Grover joined the contestants to give them feedback on their performances. While he slammed Arbaaz Patel for his physical fight, he gave a stern warning to everyone that this behavior could result in their exit from the show. Arjun Bijlani also became a Ruler and moved to the penthouse after he won the task.
