If there’s one contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 2 that has all the female attention, it’s Jad Hadid. The Dubai-based actor, TV presenter was seen being showered with love by Manisha Rani and Jiya Shankar before Akanksha Puri entered the house. The ‘Habibi’ is enjoying his time on the Salman Khan-hosted show, with fans already rooting for JaSha (Jad and Akanksha).
Interestingly, it was Abdu Rozik’s stint on Bigg Boss 16 that made Jad interested in the show. Before he entered Bigg Boss, he told indianexpress.com how the love that Abdu got through the show made him take it up himself. “Everyone wants that kind of love. I feel lucky to be one of the contestants on the show,” he shared.

When asked if he took any tips from Abdu before coming to India, Jad Hadid smiled to say, “Of course. He is my little brother and he had some important advice for me. Firstly, he asked me to not get upset and be happy on the show. He asked me to stay cool, positive and always maintain a good smile. I still don’t know what kind of situation I would be put into. While Abdu advised me to not react, I don’t know if I would be able to follow that.”
The actor also recalled meeting Salman Khan sometime back when he went on his set along with Abdu Rozik. He shared that the Bollywood star was having lunch but took time to interact with them. “It was also the first time that Abdu met Salman and if he’s around, no one else gets the spotlight. So I don’t think Salman bhai even remembers me,” he shared, adding that he’s a fan of the superstar and takes inspiration from him. Jad further said that after Bigg Boss OTT 2 he hopes to get some film offers as he plans to work in the Indian film industry.
While language is going to be a barrier for him, Jad shared that he would try to use it to his advantage and ‘ignore’ things that he doesn’t want to discuss. However, he has learned words like ‘namaste’, ‘kaise ho’ and ‘aap sundar dikh rahe ho’ to impress the females in the house. Talking about finding love on the show, he shared that Indian women are ‘beautiful’ but he wants to take the opportunity to win audiences’ hearts and not just impress one woman. The actor said that he’s divorced and a single father to a young daughter and wouldn’t mind falling in love on the show.
On a final note, Jad Hadid shared that he doesn’t want to complicate his life and avoids drama at all costs. “But I know this show is all about drama. I know people would want to involve me in drama and controversy and I am game for everything,” he added.
