RRR’s team of director SS Rajamouli and actor NTR Jr recently reunited as the former appeared on NTR 30’s film launch. Rajamouli was there to give his first clap for the shoot, as the movie went on floors. The filmmaker arrived in simple clothes at the function and greeted NTR Jr as they embraced each other.
Actor Janhvi Kapoor, who will be making her Telugu debut with the movie, also joined the event as an auspicious puja was held on the occasion. The actor looked lovely in a parrot green saree as she smiled for the camera and shook hands with the lead actor. KGF hitmaker Prashanth Neel, actor Prakash Raj and music composer Anirudh Ravichander were also seen in attendance.
Director Koratala Siva also addressed the media post the muhrat and said, “The movie is set in a forgotten coastal land of India. It’s a very emotional story about how we live in a world that has more monsters than humans.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi had earlier mentioned how she had ‘manifested’ this role for herself. “I message the director (Koratala Siva) every day. Working with NTR Jr has been a dream. I recently re-watched RRR. The magnitude of charisma that he has. To be able to share screen space with him will be one of the biggest joys of my life. I prayed every day for it. In every interview, I used to say that I want to work with NTR sir. This film might be the first time this (approach) worked for me. I do believe that what you put in the universe is what you attract. I have learnt to be always positive and do your work,” the actor said while speaking at the India Today conclave.
Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Milli. She has Bawaal and Mr and Mrs Mahi in the pipeline. Whereas, NTR Jr has been reaping the fruits of his labour he had put in the global phenomenon RRR. The film’s dance number “Naatu Naatu” recently won an Oscar for Best Original Song.
