Sobhita Dhulipala, who is presently promoting the second installment of The Night Manager, was recently asked about her previous comment where she said that she doesn’t see herself dating an actor “because the vanity of it is too much”. Sobhita is rumoured to be in a relationship with actor Naga Chaitanya for almost a year now. When asked about this, Sobhita blushed and hid her face and said that her “judgements have come down.”
In a chat with Film Companion, Sobhita was asked if she was “willing to reevaluate” her criteria. The Made in Heaven actor said, “Yeah. I think my judgments have come down a little bit.” She then composed herself and and explained that she doesn’t think “being judgmental is necessarily a bad thing. I feel like it’s only when we judge, can we assess.”
She added, “If we are constantly judgmental for the sake of analysing, that’s not right. But I think, being judgmental in measure is very natural. I may have had a certain amount of conditioning which I am, over the years pulling down.”
Recently, during a press interaction, Sobhita said that she does not believe in clarifying when asked about her personal life. “Instead of answering or clarifying about things people write with half-knowledge, one must focus on your life, improve it, be calm, and try to be a good person,” she said.
A while ago, a photograph of Naga Chaitanya from a restaurant emerged where Sobhita was seen in the background. Both actors have not commented on the relationships rumours. During the promotions of Laal Singh Chaddha, Chaitanya was asked about Sobhita in a rapid-fire like segment. At the time, he couldn’t help himself from blushing and said, “I am just going to smile.”
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple separated in 2021 and were officially divorced in 2022. In an interview with YouTube channel Prema The Journalist, the actor said, “What happened in my personal life with my marriage is unfortunate. But I have immense respect for that phase of my life. By speculating and creating rumors about it in the news reports, they are erasing that respect in the public eye. They are diminishing that respect which hurts me a lot. It was almost a year since the court has given us divorce on mutual consent.”
