Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala Wedding: Actor couple Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are all set to tie the knot in Hyderabad on Wednesday, and the who’s who of the film industry is expected to grace the event.
According to sources, couples Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela, along with Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, are set to grace the happy occasion. In addition, Jr NTR SS Rajamouli, Nayanthara, Prabhas and Allu Arjun will also be present to bless the newlyweds. Shuttler PV Sindhu will also attend. The entire Akkineni and Daggubati families will also attend the event.
A source said, “With Ram Charan-Upasana, SS Rajamouli, Nayanthara, Prabhas, Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu-Namrata among the notable guests, all roads truly lead to Hyderabad for this cultural and star-studded wedding at Annapurna Studios.”
The wedding venue Annapurna Studios holds emotional importance as it was established in 1976 by Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Located in the heart of Banjara Hills, the 22-acre studio will give a timeless backdrop for the couple’s big day.
“It was a conscious decision by the family to have the wedding there in front of my grandfather’s statue and seek his blessings. Our families are excited about coming together and celebrating,” Naga Chaitanya told ETimes in an interview.

Reports also suggest that the bride Sobhita Dhulipala will don a traditional Kanjivaram silk saree, paired with real gold zari, reflecting her cultural roots, while Naga Chaitanya will pay tribute to his grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by wearing a traditional attire called ‘pancha’ reminiscent of his grandfather’s timeless style.
Sources shared that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will be sharing their first photos after wedding on their social media handles. Their representatives have been instructed not to reveal details as the family wants to keep the wedding ceremony intimate and personal.
The pre-wedding celebrations of the couple started recently at the Akkineni house with Sobhita and Chay’s Pelli Raata ceremony, followed by Mangalasnaanam rituals.
Meanwhile, in a chat with Zoom recently, Naga Chaitanya talked about how their families have been bonding with each other over the last few months. He said, “It’s been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family the past few months, watching the families interact has been a joy. I am really looking forward to and excited for the wedding day, going through all the rituals and watching the families come together.” The actor added, “I am treated like a son. There has been a lot of comfort and many things in common from the get-go. Sobhita is a family girl, and we have all celebrated a couple of festivals together as well.”
