On the occasion of the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya, Varma took to social media to share a first-look poster of the upcoming movie, accompanied by an image of himself holding the bound script for Jai Hanuman.

Though further details about the project are not yet disclosed, the poster indicates that the new film will be a part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe.

Starring Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, and Raj Deepak Shetty in key roles, Hanu Man hit the screens on January 15, coinciding with the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Despite its release alongside some mammoth projects like Trivikram Srinivas’ Mahesh Babu-starrer Guntur Kaaram, Sailesh Kolanu’s Venkatesh Daggubati-starrer Saindhav, Vijay Binni’s Nagarjuna-starrer Naa Saami Ranga and Arun Matheswaran’s Dhanush-starrer Captain Miller, Hanu Man received an overwhelming response, outperforming its competitors at the box office.

In our review of the film, we wrote, “Tejja Sajja and Prashanth Varma film takes a leaf from Indian mythology and effortlessly adds it to the superhero genre, delivering an engaging and entertaining film.”
