Mokshagnya Teja is the latest entrant from the Nandamuri family into Telugu cinema. Son of veteran actor Balakrishna, Mokshagnya will make his much-awaited debut in Prasanth Varma’s next. Announcing this update, Prasanth shared a photo of the aspiring actor, and wrote, “With great joy & privilege, Introducing to you… “NANDAMURI TARAKA RAMA MOKSHAGNYA TEJA” Happy birthday Mokshu.”

Interestingly, the debut film of Mokshagnya Teja will be the second film in Prasanth’s much-hyped PVCU  — Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe — that started with the hugely successful Hanu-Man, starring Teja Sajja. Welcoming Mokshagnya to the PVCU, Prasanth wrote, “Welcome to the PVCU. Let’s do it. Thanks to Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu for all the trust & blessings. Hoping to make this one much more special & memorable for everyone.”

Over the past few days, Prasanth teased the announcement with the photo of The Lion King’s Rafiki introducing Simba to the jungle. The makers of the next have also shared the caption, ‘The Legacy lives on’ which has multiple connotations, including the most obvious one about Mokshagnya following the illustrious footsteps of his father, grandfather, uncles, and cousins, and the subtler one of this being the second film in the PVCU.

Meanwhile, Mokshagnya is said to have undergone acting lessons under the tutelage of Satyanand in the Satyanand Acting Institute of Vizag. It has been the home for many of the Telugu superstars including Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas.

Sharing the introduction poster of Mokshagnya, the makers wrote, “From the ancient realms of Indian Itihasas, Emerges a new Superhero in The PVCU. Proudly Introducing Mokshagnya Nandamuri to the world cinema in a Mythological Action Entertainer.”
