Mrunal Thakur says she isn’t starring alongside Prabhas in Fauji: ‘Sorry to be a vibe killer’

Earlier this month, there were reports of Prabhas starring in director Hanu Raghavapudi's film titled Fauji. It was speculated that actress Mrunal Thakur will be the female lead.

Sita Ramam star Mrunal Thakur is enjoying a career high at the moment and recent rumours suggested that she would be starring alongside Prabhas in his next film Fauji. A recently published report claimed that Mrunal and Prabhas will be sharing screen space in the film and also claimed that the makers of the film will reveal the first look of the duo on August 17. However, Mrunal Thakur’s recent reaction has put a full stop to all the speculations.

On Wednesday, the actor reacted to a post that claimed she would part of Fauji. Taking to the comments section, the actress wrote, “Sorry to be a vibe killer! Butttt I’m not a part of this film.”

Earlier this month, there were rumours that Prabhas is starring in Hanu Raghavapudi’s film Fauji. Reports claimed that the film will be launched on August 17 in Hyderabad. The film will be produced by Mythri Movies, who will also organise a puja ceremony to commence the film. However, none of these reports have been confirmed by the makers yet.

On the work front, Prabhas was last seen in the film Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. Prabhas is also gearing up for his first ever horror-comedy drama Raja Sahab. He will also star in Prashanth Neel’s Salaar 2.
