After playing the brave Devasena in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion, Anushka Shetty has not quite made a mark at the box officer except for two flashes in the pan–Rudhramadhevi and Bhaagamathie. On top of that, the actor was missing from action for the past three years after the release of the film Nishabhdham in 2020. Now, Anushka is back with the much-awaited movie Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. The trailer of the film was unveiled on Monday evening.
The trailer of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty starts with Chef Nandita, who is shown to be practical and ambitious and in search for the right partner. It seems that her search ends when she meets Naveen Polishetty, a part-time stand up comedian, who is all about emotions. The story takes an interesting twist when it is revealed that Nandita is looking for a partner only to help her conceive a child and not fall in love or marry.

Directed by Mahesh Babu Pachigolla, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty also stars Naveen Polishetty in the lead role. The film follows Miss Shetty and Mr Polishetty, who seem to be two different people in love. While she is a dedicated cook, who takes the profession seriously, the guy is a wannabe stand-up comedian who works with non-existent dedication.
The film is slated to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
