Telugu actor Mahesh Babu remembered his father, late superstar Krishna Ghattamaneni on his first death anniversary on Wednesday. The Ghattamaneni family, including Mahesh’s wife Namrata Shirodkar and son Gautham Ghattamaneni, paid tribute to Krishna at a remembrance meeting that was organised in Hyderabad.
Mahesh also posted a picture of Krishna on Twitter and wrote, “Superstar, always and forever”.
Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar also posted a picture from the remembrance meet and wrote, “We miss you, Mamayya Garu, and you will always remain in our thoughts and prayers. May your soul continue to rest in peace, and may we honour your memory by spreading the same love and warmth you graciously gave to us.”

Krishna passed away at the age of 79 due to multiple organ failure. The Padma Bhushan awardee is known for introducing the first cinemascope film, the first cowboy movie and the first 70-mm film in Telugu cinema during his five-decade-long career.
