Lucky Baskhar box office collection day 2: Actor Dulquer Salmaan’s Telugu outing Lucky Baskhar had a strong second day of release, as it maintained a steady momentum following its excellent opening. The crime thriller was also released in the Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Lucky Baskhar earned Rs 6.25 cr nett on Friday.

The figures are consistent with its Thursday haul. Lucky Baskhar had netted Rs 6,45 cr across all versions on its opening day, which happened to coincide with the Diwali holiday. Before that, the film was released in limited paid previews on Wednesday–in Telugu and Tamil– which saw collections of Rs 0.9 cr.

The two-day total of the film stands at Rs 13.6 cr, and the collections are only likely to grow from here considering its positive audience reception. If Lucky Baskhar manages to even hold its current pace at the box office, with consistent numbers across the next two days, the extended weekend collection will be in the range of Rs 25-27 cr, which will be a fantastic result for the film.

In terms of global gross, Lucky Baskhar has earned Rs 26.2 cr in two days, according to the makers. The film can surpass the Rs 50 cr worldwide mark after Sunday. Dulquer Salmaan took to X and shared the collections, writing, “Our Baskhar is unstoppable at the box office, 𝟐𝟔.𝟐 𝐂𝐑+ 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒 worldwide in 2 Days! 🔥💰”

If and when Lucky Baskhar crosses the Rs 50 cr mark globally, it will also become Dulquer Salmaan’s fourth-highest earner, surpassing the worldwide collections of his Mani Ratnam hit O Kadhal Kanmani (Rs 46 cr). In terms of worldwide collections, Dulquer’s top three films are Kurup (Rs 78 cr), Mahanati (Rs 80 cr) and Sita Ramam, which grossed over Rs 90 cr.

Lucky Baskhar also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ayesha Khan, Hyper Aadi and P Sai Kumar. The film is set in the 1980s and follows the journey of an ordinary banker, who rises to become a millionaire.
