Telugu star Jr NTR's team revealed that he was injured in an ad shoot

Telugu actor Jr NTR was injured recently while shooting an advertisement at a Hyderabad studio. On Friday, his team issued a statement confirming that he would be taking some rest to recover before returning to work. The clarification came after multiple reports about his injury surfaced online.

The team’s statement read, “Mr NTR sustained a minor injury today while shooting for an advertisement. On medical advice, he will be resting for the next couple of weeks to ensure a complete recovery. We would like to assure everyone that his condition is stable and there is no cause for concern. We sincerely request fans, media and the public to refrain from any speculation.”

The statement did not specify the nature of Jr NTR’s injury or provide a timeline for his complete recovery. Concerned fans quickly flooded social media with messages about his health.

This comes after Jr NTR had earlier surprised fans with a drastically leaner appearance, which had sparked speculation about sudden weight loss. It was later clarified, however, that the transformation was part of his preparation for his next project.

In other news, Jr NTR recently met US Consul General Laura Williams in Hyderabad. Williams shared photos from the meeting on social media, mentioning his recent and upcoming projects being filmed in the United States. The US Consul General’s post read, “Excited to welcome @tarak9999 to the Consulate! His recent & upcoming projects filmed in the United States showcase the power of partnership, creating jobs, and strengthening ties between India & the United States (sic).”

On the work front, Jr NTR was last seen in War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan. The film received negative reviews and underperformed at the box office. He is now filming NTRNeel with director Prashanth Neel. It is slated for a theatrical release in June next year.
