The spin-off of zombie TV show ‘The Walking Dead’ will be set in Los Angeles, California. It’s unclear, though, if the show will be filmed in LA or another city that could double as LA, reported E! online.
The pilot will reportedly feature scenes set in a school and a hospital. Other details of the show have been kept under tight wraps. However, several principal characters on the show had been revealed. They include a Latino man in his 40s and his son, a single mother in her 30s and her teenage son and daughter, as well as a character named Andrea Chapman who “has retreated to the outskirts of the city to recover after a horrible marriage.”
The cast includes Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey, who all land series regular roles. The pilot, penned by Dave Erickson and the ‘Walking Dead’ comic book author Robert Kirkman, will be shot in early 2015.
