Tanya Mittal feels family is still upset with her decision to participate in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19; not sure if mother will come in the family week

On the show, Tanya Mittal has time and again spoken about terribly missing her mother, but when she got a chance to choose between her favorite soft toy and a chance to see a video that her mother had sent, Tanya chose the toy. Questioning this, Shehbaz asked her in the latest episode, “The video that had come was from your mother or aunt?” Tanya said it was from her mother. Later, Shehbaz added, “If the video was of your mother, she could also come and visit you. Is she so upset that she won’t come?”

Defending her equation with her mother, Tanya said, “I think one of my aunts will come. It will be great if my dadu comes. If she (mother) comes, I will be happy. But I gave details about my aunt to the team because when I was coming on the show, I wasn’t sure if my mother would come. I have given the numbers of three friends and two relatives.”

Later, Shehbaz discussed how Tanya never talks confidently about her mother or brother. Gaurav also pointed out how Tanya’s family hasn’t sent her the silver water bottle she asked for, forcing her to use the broken one throughout the season.

Earlier on the show, Tanya Mittal mentioned that her father had created many obstacles in her life. She said, “My father used to beat me, and my mother would save me. I have reached here with a lot of difficulty. I started my business with great difficulty and got permission to step out of the house. I would have gotten married at 19; I wanted to die then.”

Sometime back, Tanya’s family had said, “We cannot explain the mix of emotions we feel seeing our Tanya on the country’s biggest reality show. As parents, nothing makes us prouder than watching her win hearts. But at the same time, nothing hurts more than seeing her being pulled down, made a target, and spoken about so cruelly by people who don’t even know her heart. To everyone questioning her or throwing allegations, we have only one request: please wait until her journey is complete before passing judgments.”

During her time on Bigg Boss 19, Tanya Mittal has made several striking claims about her ultra-luxurious lifestyle. She has claimed that her home is larger and more luxurious than any 5- to 7-star hotel in the country, complete with a lift inside a kitchen cabinet to send food directly to individual rooms. Tanya has also said that she has 150 personal bodyguards and a staff of over 800 people. She reportedly entered the show with 800 sarees and seven boxes of jewellery.

During a conversation on the show, Tanya revealed having several factories that produce medicines, solar panels, clothes, handicrafts, and toys. She had even told Neelam Giri that she travels all the way to Delhi to eat the famous Dal Bukhara and travels to Agra at least three times a month just to have cold coffee sitting opposite the Taj Mahal. Other than this, Tanya’s biscuits come from London, and she frequently travels to Dubai to eat Baklava.

While many of her fellow contestants insist that Tanya’s claims are exaggerated or untrue, her friend Neelam Giri recently said that she hopes Tanya really is as wealthy as she says she is.
