Shehnaaz Gill is shocked as Kapil Sharma reveals his flirting on The Kapil Sharma Show is ‘scripted’: ‘Channel wrote me an email’

Responding to Shehznaaz’s claims, Kapil said, “Jab wife ho jaati hai fir koi girlfriend nahi hoti (when one has a wife they don’t have girlfriends).” That’s when Shehnaaz quipped, “You flirt on your show all day. Someone comes and you just go on and on flirting with them.” On this, Kapil said that all of it is scripted, leaving Shehnaaz in disbelief.

“It’s not like that, it is in the script. It’s not like I do mazaak with anyone and everyone.” When Shehnaaz expressed surprise that flirting is a part of the script, Kapil shared, “You won’t believe it but the channel has asked me to… After I got married I used to feel shy when a heroine would come (on the show) I would wonder what I’ll talk to them about. And then when I had kids I became even more serious, so I wouldn’t touch that angle and talk about their film. So they (the channel) wrote me an email that I’m missing this aspect and quoted a survey.”

“So I told them to send one copy of that email to my wife also so she doesn’t get offended (when I flirt). I’m a romantic bird of India, like how the peacock is the national bird of India,” Kapil added.

Shehnaaz then further clarified that Kapil flirting on the show should not be taken seriously, she said, “Wherever Kapil Sharma flirts with women on his show is all scripted. But he is so talented that he gives the script his own twist, in a fun way. So when the heroines come on the show (and when he flirts with you) don’t take him seriously. He is very happy with his wife, and he loves his wife Ginny.”
