Sanjeeda Sheikh doesn’t want to stick to one image in TV

"I like to play different roles in TV serials and do not want to create a particular image," Sheikh told reporters.

Television actress Sanjeeda Sheikh, currently playing Durga Thakur in serial ‘Ek Hasina Thi’, wants to try different roles without sticking to a particular image.

“I like to play different roles in TV serials and do not want to create a particular image,” Sanjeeda Sheikh told reporters.

It was a co-incidence that brought Sanjeeda to the world of television when producer Ekta Kapoor spotted her at a party and approached her to act on a show.

After featuring in Ekta’s TV series ‘Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa’, the 29-year-old actress has not looked behind and went on to take up challenging roles.

She is happy with the audience’s response towards her role in ‘Ek Hasina Thi’. About her character in the show, Sheikh says Durga is not
only rich, brave and focused but is also strong, powerful, calculating and manipulative.

Sheikh, who had won the ‘Nach Baliye 3’ dancing competition show on TV some years back, also intends to open a dance school to train young and budding dancers.

On entering Bollywood, the actress says she is willing to work in films if a good offer comes her way.
