‘Pura schedule change ho gaya,’ says new father Sidharth Malhotra; recalls changing diapers: ‘Bina diaper ka oops moment bhi experience kiya hai’

Actors Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen on The Great Indian Kapil Show promoting their film Param Sundari. In a promo of the episode, host Kapil Sharma is seen teasing Sidharth about his effortless on-screen romance even after marriage. Later, Sidharth also talks about embracing fatherhood and how he is handling the new responsibilities, even sharing his experience with diaper-changing.

Talking about being a new father, Sidharth, flaunting a big smile, said, “Arey pura schedule change ho gaya, abhi main waheen se aa raha hoon subeh subeh. Chahe woh khaane peene ka dhyaan ho, unke sleeping pattern ho, aaj kal raat ko late nights chal rahi hai par alag kisam ki! Teen chaar baje feeding ho raha (The entire schedule has changed. I am coming from there only. Whether it is taking care of their food or their sleeping pattern, these days, late nights of different levels are happening. Feeding happens at 3-4 am).”

He added, “Main toh abhi supporting actor play kar raha hoon, jo sirf wahan pe khade hoke dekh raha hai (I am only playing a supporting actor right now, who is just standing and watching everything).” When Archana Puran Singh asked Sidharth about his diaper-changing experience, he went on to share, “Kiya hai diaper change, aur bina diaper ka ‘oops moment’ bhi experience kiya hai ab toh (I have changed diapers, and now I have also experienced an oops moment without diaper).”

In the promo, Kapil Sharma is also seen talking to Janhvi Kapoor about his drastic weight loss. While Kapil teases Sidharth about his effortless on-screen romance, Sidharth playfully reminds him that while he gets to romance only once or twice a year, Kapil enjoys the opportunity across 100 episodes.

The new episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will stream on Netflix at 8 pm on Saturday.
