Bollywood and television celebrities were spotted arriving for Ankita Lokhande's father's prayer meet in Mumbai.

Television actor Ankita Lokhande’s father Shashikant Lokhande passed away on August 12. The funeral was held yesterday in Mumbai and the prayer meet was held today. Mouni Roy, Mrunal Thakur, Aly Goni and Nia Sharma among others were spotted arriving for the prayer meet.

Aly and Jasmin Bhasin arrived together. Tejasswi Prakash and Randeep Hooda were also spotted arriving for the prayer meet.

Earlier in the day, the Pavitra Rishta actor took to her Instagram handle and revealed the details of the prayer meet. The post read, “Prayer meet. You will be missed forever, Shashikant Lokhande. August 14, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm.”

Shraddha Arya, Kushal Tandon, Nandish Sandhu, Arti Singh, Aparna Dixit and Omkar Kapoor attended the funeral on Saturday to pay their last respects to Ankita’s father.

On the occasion of Father’s Day, Ankita Lokhande had penned a heartfelt note for her father. Ankita wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to my first hero my daddy. I can’t express my true feelings what I feel for you but I love you bahut sara (a lot)… I have seen you struggling for many things when I was a child but you made sure that your children don’t.. you always gave me my wings to fly and made me do whatever I wanted to become… I’m what I’m it’s all your support and strength…”
