Ekta Kapoor’s iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has finally returned with its reboot version after a hiatus of 25 years. After the premiere of the first three episodes, rumours have surfaced on the internet about Mandira Bedi’s comeback in the , who was a part of the first season as Dr. Mandira Kapadia comeback in the show. She played a small but effective role in ‘Kyunki’, creating conflicts in the Virani family.
If the speculations are true, Mandira will be making her television comeback in season 2. According to a source by Filmibeat, Mandira is expected to return to television 25 years. Many fans are curious whether she would reprise her previous role or enter as a new character. However, an official confirmation by the actor or the makers is still awaited. As per the same source, Mouni Roy and Pulkit Samrat, who played the couple Krishna Tulsi and Lakshya, will make a brief appearance in the reboot.

The latest third episode of the second season is already creating buzz on social media. After the episode premiered, several social media users expressed their excitement to see Tulsi in her ‘angry’ avatar after Angad’s arrest. A fan wrote, “Precap m kya jabardast kutai ho rhi Angad ki.. OG Tulsi virani..De dhana dhan… Adopted kids Tulsi Mihir ki zindagi jhand krne ke liye hai..Gotcha,” a fan wrote.
On the other hand, many fans were also disappointed about Hiten Tejwani (Karan Virani) and Gauri Pradhan’s (Nandini Virani) cameo appearances. “I watched #KSBKBT for Karan Nandini..but now that they r just for the special appearance is a great disappointment. They could hve started a new story altogether with them as parents having genz kids..so now there is no reason t watch it,” a user commented. “Same here only watching for karan-nandini ab toh bekar anupama 2.0 ban gaya show #ksbkbt2 #Hitentejwani #Gauripradhan #kyunkisaasbhikabhibahuthi2,” another comment read.

The 2000 show of Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms was on top of the TRP charts for years.
