Business tycoon Gautam Adani’s younger son Jeet Adani, director at Adani Airports, recently appeared on Shark Tank India Season 4. One of the ‘sharks,’ Anupam Mittal, interviewed Jeet during the episode and quizzed him about his passion for helping differently-abled individuals find employment. While the two entrepreneurs discussed business opportunities in this space, Jeet also revealed that he has a fake profile on the website Shaadi.com. Jeet Adani is set to tie the knot with Diva Shah in Ahmedabad on February 7.

During the interaction, Jeet spoke about his decision to pursue entrepreneurship with social impact and how working towards the upliftment of the differently-abled is one way to do that. He recalled how these values were instilled in him by his grandmother, who used to take him to orphanages and old-age homes as a child. He also admitted that he was inspired by pitchers on Shark Tank India, such as Fupro, a company that makes futuristic prosthetics for the specially-abled community. Adani shared that he even called the pitchers for a private meeting because he is passionate about projects like these.

Jeet also announced that he will appear on Shark Tank India for a special episode featuring businesses run by differently-abled individuals or ventures designed to support them. While Jeet agreed to join the panel as a Shark, Anupam humorously quipped, “But you will take all the deals. What will we do?” He then suggested that Jeet come as a guide instead of a Shark.

Before his grand wedding, Jeet asked Anupam to remove his fake profile from Shaadi.com, which was created by his friends as a joke. He said, “In middle school, in 7th or 8th grade, you know how boys are… they mess around and prank each other. So one of my friends set up a profile called ‘Jeet Adani’ on your website.”

He also shared that he has no idea what contact information was used for the profile. “I have no idea whose email or phone number is linked to it. I have been trying my best to get it taken down,” he added, chuckling. “Meri shaadi ho rahi hai, aapke Shaadi.com pe profile hai (I’m getting married, but I still have a profile on Shaadi.com).”

Anupam, however, didn’t let go of the opportunity to tease Jeet, saying, “I will remove the profile, but let’s tell the real story. I think Jeet bhai himself made the profile and is now pinning it on his friends. Then he was lucky to meet Diva ji, but he forgot to remove the profile.” Anupam statement had Jeet in splits. During the interaction, Jeet also shared details about how he met Diva. “I actually met her through a family friend,” he revealed.

Previously, Gautam Adani had shared that Jeet’s wedding will be family affair with no celebrity performances.
