Jamie Lee Curtis to star in medical drama

The actress' last regular TV role was in 1989 'Anything But Love'.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis has landed the starring role in CBS’ untitled David Marshall Grant medical drama.

The 55-year-old actress, whose last regular TV role was in 1989 ‘Anything But Love’, would be playing Caroline, the quadruplets’ mother, who is a dynamic and distinguished physician, running the Easton Hospital, said The Hollywood Reporter.

The medical drama is based on the Israeli format, ‘Ran Quartet’, which revolved around three brothers and a sister, who grew up on a reality show.

The actress has guest starred in ‘NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service’ and ‘New Girl’.
