Actor Arjun Bijlani is best known for his roles in Indian television shows such as Ishq Mai Marjawan, Pardes Mein Hai Dil Mera, Naagin, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actor recently invited his fans for a tour of his Mumbai home, which overlooks the whole city and has been named after his mother, Shakti Bijlani. He showcased his impressive footwear collection and talked about his favourite movies and football players.

Talking to Mashable India, Arjun first took the fans to his massive living room, which had a beige/white theme throughout. The actor explained that he “doesn’t like gaudy colours and things” and that the colour white gives him “peace”. He had a digital fireplace and a large TV mounted on the wall, and the room also had a projector for a more expansive viewing experience. Arjun then took the fans to his bar, which he explained isn’t used that regularly. “Whenever we have a party, there is a bartender right here, and he takes care of everyone. If I just have a few friends over, we just do it ourselves and sit here and chat,” said Arjun.

Arjun then showed some of the posters he had put in the living room. The collection included posters of films like Scarface and The Wolf of Wall Street, a Harvey Spectre poster from Suits, and one of his favourite football players, Lionel Messi. He said, “Don’t tell my son because he is a huge Cristiano Ronaldo fan, but Messi is my favourite.” Arjun also pointed at a regal-looking green chair and said, “This is a chair for my wife; Maharani yaha baithti hai (The queen sits here).” After telling some more stories about his custom-made chandelier, a Ganesh painting, and his yellow sofa, Arjun took fans to the balcony.

He said, “This is my favourite place in my house; it’s my cosy corner. This is the space I worked really hard on to create that kind of feeling. We have played with the white and blue, and here is the skyline. This is the charm of Mumbai, when you can overlook the entire city from a high-rise. I love this place, and a lot of thinking and decision-making is done at this spot.” He continued and said while looking at a painting, “Love is all you need in life, apart from having a good house.”

Arjun then showed the fans the passage leading up to his son’s room and his own bedroom. Arjun showcased his son’s LEGO collection, model planes, and action figures before pointing at his medals and stating that he is a very proud father. He showed his bedroom next, which had a massaging chair right by the bed, and the actor admitted that after a long day of shooting, that machine really helps him a lot. The bedroom continued the beige theme and so did the walk-in closet. Arjun recalled that he used to live in a 2 BHK with his mother, brother, wife, son, house help and a dog, and he had promised his wife that he would get her a walk-in closet in the next home.

The closet had shoes in so many cabinets that Arjun didn’t even bother to open them all. The mirror was surrounded by warm bulbs on three sides, like a backstage changing room at a theatre production.
