Reality TV star Kylie Jenner has revealed she created her Lip Kit By Kylie range after she had trouble finding the perfect shade for her pout.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star had to turn to using a brown eyeliner she already owned in order to get the desired shade for her famous lips, reported OK! magazine.

“I actually used a brown eyeliner as a lipliner. At the time, I couldn’t find a decent brown lipstick anywhere. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own. That way, I can never run out of my favourite colour.”

The 18-year-old reality star also revealed her lip shades are heavily inspired by 90’s fashion.

“Lipstick is such a passion of mine – I’m really into 90’s shades, so I wear loads of mauve, nude, and brown tones.”
