American actor and filmmaker Josh Radnor, known for his iconic role as Ted Mosby in the Emmy Award–winning TV series How I Met Your Mother, recently tied the knot with his girlfriend Jordana Jacobs at a private ceremony held at the Cedar Lakes Estate in the Hudson Valley.
Taking to Instagram to share a couple of photos from the occasion, Radnor mentioned that he got married two weeks ago amidst a light blizzard. “It was an incredibly overwhelming snowy, bliss-filled weekend. So grateful to so many people I love for making the trip to Cedar Lakes Estate to be with us. To Forged In The North for the extraordinary pictures,” he noted.
“But most of all, [thanks] to Jordana. I can’t believe my great good fortune that I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife,” he added. In the heartwarming pictures, the couple is captured savouring the joyous moments while planting gentle kisses on each other’s lips.
According to The New York Times, Jacobs, a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Brooklyn, holds degrees from Tufts University and Long Island University, Brooklyn. The ceremony incorporated Jewish wedding traditions and was officiated by Jacob Azia, a Universal Life Church minister and friend of the couple.
Soon after Radnor posted the pictures on Instagram, fans began flooding the comment section with remarks suggesting that he finally found his Tracy McConnell (Cristin Milioti), the title character from HIMYM who eventually became Ted’s wife and the mother of his children.
“Kids, I’m gonna tell you an incredible story,” one user commented, while another one mentioned, “Please tell us how you met her 😍.” “I have to ask, did she have a yellow umbrella?” an Instagrammer wondered, referring to how Ted once unwittingly owned Tracy’s umbrella before accidentally leaving it behind in her apartment.
In his latest endeavours, Radnor appeared in Haroula Rose’s movie All Happy Families (2023) and the TV series Fleishman Is in Trouble (2022), created by Taffy Brodesser-Akner.
