Gaurav Khanna says he wants to have kids but wife Akanksha doesn’t after 9 years of marriage: ‘Love marriage hai, jo wo bolegi karna padega’

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, actor Gaurav Khanna revealed that after 9 years of marriage, he wants to have kids but his wife Akanksha Chamola isn't ready yet.

Ever since Bigg Boss 19 started airing, the contestants have been dropping truth bombs about their personal life. In the latest episode, television actor Gaurav Khanna expressed his desire of wanting a child, but his wife, actor Akanksha Chamola is not ready yet. During a candid chat in the garden area, he opened up about his married life, their choices, and their nine years of marriage.

Content creator Mridul Tiwari asked Gaurav about fatherhood, to which he replied, “We will complete 9 years in November.” Mridul further asked if he had kids. “Unko chahiye hi nahi. Mujhko chahiye toh, but love marriage hai toh jo woh bolegi toh mujhe karna padega. Pyar kiya toh nibhana toh padega. Unki apni soch bhi sahi hai (She doesn’t want kids. I want, but it’s a love marriage, will have to do whatever she says. If you’ve fallen in love, you must see it through. She has her own thought process),” the Anupamaa actor said.

He added, “Responsibility hoti hai bahut. Aur hum log sirf do hai. Main har waqt kaam karta hoon aur kal ko unko kaam mil gaya toh bacchon ko akela nahi chodna. Mere ko chahiye tha, but usne mujhe yeh baat samjhayi. Dekhenege aage, but never say never (There are a lot of responsibilities. And it’s only two of us for each other. If I go for work and she also gets work, who will keep the kids? I had told her that I want, but I understood when she explained).”

Before Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav participated in the celebrity cooking show Celebrity MasterChef India and won the title after defeating Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Mr Faisu and Rajiv Adatia. In one of the episodes, the actor opened up about his love story with Akanksha.

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola tied the knot in November, 2016, in a grand ceremony. On the professional front, Akanksha is a TV actor, popular for shows such as Swaragini, Bhootu, and Can You See Me. On the other hand, Gaurav is known projects include Anupamaa, in which he played the role of Anuj Kapadia, Savdhaan India, and Mauka-E-Vardaat.
