Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar: On the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, filmmaker Farah Khan stepped into Salman Khan’s shoes as host. While she carried forward Salman’s role of giving contestants a stern reality check, she also schooled Kunickaa Sadanand. Over the past two weeks, Kunickaa had been praised by Salman for her game, but in the third week, she crossed a line by dragging Tanya’s mother into a conversation and questioning her upbringing. Addressing the issue, Farah called Kunickaa “vindictive” this week.
Farah taunted Kunickaa and said, “I can stand in front of you because my mother has taught me how to cook, my cooking vlog is a hit. Kuncikaaji, I have known you for 30 years now, and seeing your behavior was a shocker for us. I saw for the first time that you removed food from someone’s plate. Kunickaaji, Tanya has the right to say anything she wants about her mother; no one else has the right to taunt her upbringing. You went directly into her upbringing, and that was very wrong. Not everyone can bring up their children like you did; everyone has their journey, so you cannot expect that, but you get offended when things don’t happen the way you like.”
“You have taken full control of the kitchen. You look obsessed with Tanya. In my eyes, her upbringing is so good that she didn’t answer you back, even when you said all those things. People who are closest to you, you have started fighting with them. When you are upset, you boycott kitchen duties, and that is not looking nice. You are giving lots of masala, you are very entertaining, but take part in the task, or else you will be stuck in that image. This is exactly the problem: you think you never go wrong, you are becoming a control freak, and then you say it’s your wish. Can we say you are a vindictive person? Is that your personality trait? Everything you are saying about Tanya is making her very popular outside,” the filmmaker-choreographer added.
Last week, Salman Khan had called Kunickaa Sadanand a lioness, and in the week, Kunickaa took the title very seriously. Talking about the same, Farah Khan said, “Kunickaa, you are looking very wrong. Tanya is harmless. What was wrong if they told you you were wrong? I think Salman made a mistake by calling you a lioness; you are not one. You keep calling everyone shallow; basically, you are calling everyone inferior. You are the only one who feels inferior around Tanya. Is it good to question her educational qualifications? If someone is not educated, it’s not their fault; you cannot use it as a derogatory term. Remember, all your negative roles in films were scripted; here you are writing your own script, so be careful. If you don’t want to come across like your characters, please be mindful.”
Replying to the feedback, Kunickaa said, “I am not into people pleasing, the audience will see me in my authentic self. From now on, I will also cry when someone says anything to me. Then I will see how many people will take a stand for me.”
Bigg Boss 19 streams on JioHotstar at 9 pm and on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
