Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar: After giving contestants a serious reality check for two weeks, Bigg Boss 19 host Salman Khan was absent from the latest episode of the show. The superstar is currently in Ladakh shooting for his next film, which is why he couldn’t host the Weekend Ka Vaar. In his place, filmmaker Farah Khan stepped in to host the episode, delivering unfiltered feedback to the contestants. One of the key issues she addressed was the serious allegation made by model Nehal Chudasama against music composer Amaal Mallik. During the captaincy task, Nehal had accused Amaal of inappropriately touching her.
The accusation left Amaal visibly emotional, he not only apologized to Nehal multiple times but was also seen breaking down in tears. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Farah supported Amaal, assuring him he was not at fault. She even chided him for apologizing so many times. Farah said, “Nobody knows what exactly happened during the task other than Amaal, Nehal, and us who saw it. And it was made into such a big issue.” Farah then told Nehal, “What even happened? First of all, you have hit Amaal in a place where you shouldn’t have, we are not saying it was intentional, it just happened. The task was physical, which made you think it was a mental task.”
Farah Khan then told Amaal Mallik, “Amaal, you knew you were correct, then why did you go overboard in apologizing. I wanted to come there and slap you.” Amaal responded, “If anyone falls and starts crying, and says she was physically tortured, for a few minutes, I felt that I should apologize.” Farah further told Nehal Chudasama, “As a friend, it’s a very convenient thing. When Abhishek was accused of something similar, you and Farrhana behaved as if what had happened. Because Amaal is a friend, it was very convenient to use the feminism card. There is nobody more feminist than me, but what you’re doing is taking feminism back by 100 years. Why were you crying so much? You were getting so much attention that at some point, you were enjoying it.”
Amaal then added, “I had zero guilt within because I knew I didn’t do anything wrong. What I felt bad about was that she yelled to the camera that I was being physical with her. I don’t want that perception to go out; it scared me in that moment. Friendship is secondary. As a girl, if you say something against any man on this show, a wrong narrative goes out and can damage my reputation.” Gaurav Khanna also revealed that Amaal was shaken by the incident. Later, Farah lauded Amaal for playing the game brilliantly.
Bigg Boss 19 streams on JioHostar every Monday to Sunday at 9 pm and on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
