Elvish Yadav organises first meet-up in Gurugram after Bigg Boss OTT 2 win, receives praise from Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar

Elvish Yadav made history on Bigg Boss OTT 2 after becoming the first wild card contestant to win the reality show. Celebrating his victory, Yadav organised a fan meet-up in Gurugram, with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar as the special guest. Khattar lauded Yadav’s performance in the Bigg Boss house during the event.

Tau Devilal Stadium in Gurugram witnessed an astounding turnout of over three lakh fans, as per reports. The Chief Minister’s official Instagram account shared a video in which he addressed Yadav’s fans, urging them to draw inspiration from him and contribute to a drug-free state. The video’s caption read, “Hail Mother India! The strength that this immense crowd of youths has demonstrated together with enthusiasm will definitely help to take India to new heights and create a drug-free society. Witnessed the energy of Haryana youth in Gurugram.”

Elvish Yadav was delcared the winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 on August 14. He took home the trophy and cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. Abhishek Malhan and Manisha Rani secured the titles of first and second runner-up, respectively.

Rumors have been circulating about Elvish getting a backing from political figures. Political personalities such as Tej Pratap Yadav, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, and Smriti Irani have referenced him in recent social media posts. In a conversation with indianexpress.com, Elvish shared his perspective on the matter, saying, “I am getting to know about all these now. Be it politicians, celebs or social media influencers, I want to thank them for supporting me. However, honestly, I did not seek any backing or did not keep a team to promote me like this. Even I am shocked about how so many people wanted me to win.”
