The stork arrived at singer Rahul Vaidya and actor Disha Parmar’s doorstep with a little princess. The couple on Wednesday welcomed their first child, a baby girl. They took to social media to make the happy announcement and shared how they were ‘elated’.
The Instagram post had a baby elephant with a pink napkin around her neck. A banner which read, ‘It’s a girl’ also adorned the picture. The couple also thanked the hospital and the doctors for their effortless experience.
“We are blessed with a Baby GIRL! The mummy and baby both are healthy and doing perfectly well! We would like to thank our Gynaec @dhruptidedhia who was hands on with the baby right since conceiving till birth and special thanks to our family @dnamjoshi & @masuuma at @criticareasiahospitals for giving us the best delivery experience possible! And we are elated! 😃😃😃😃🎉🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳👶👶👶👶❤️❤️❤️ pls bless the baby 👶👶👶,” Rahul captioned the post.
Rahul Vaidya, in an earlier interview, shared how he has always dreamt of being a father. “I have always dreamt of being a father and giving a lot of love to my child. When I heard the news, it was unexpected, but I was extremely happy, and I am all set to become a papa soon. It is yet to hit me completely,” Rahul Vaidya told ETimes. However, he added that with so many good wishes pouring in for the would-be parents, the realisation of this new phase is starting to ‘sink in.’
The Bigg Boss 14 finalist further shared that his baby is ‘God’s blessing’ and the new parents are looking forward to experiencing this new chapter of their lives. Rahul said that he was in Goa for work, and as soon as he came back to Mumbai, his wife broke the news to him, leaving him elated.
Rahul had proposed to Disha on Bigg Boss 14, as her birthday surprise. Disha even sent him a reply and visited him on the show on Valentine’s Day. The couple had met through common friends and soon struck a close bond. Disha also starred in the music video of Rahul Vaidya’s single “Yaad Teri” in 2019. On the work front, Disha Parmar was last seen in Bade Acche Lagte Hain.
