TV actor Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen’s divorce was finalised on June 8. The couple is now co-parenting their daughter Ziana. Recently, Charu revealed feeling anxious before going to court for the final hearing of her divorce proceedings. She also clarified that though she and Rajeev are divorced, their daughter can continue to meet her father.

In her vlog, Charu chronicled the day before her divorce when she had to shoot a couple of TV commercials with actor Mahima Chaudhary. Later, she made a video while travelling to the court on June 8, in which she said, “Thodi anxiety hai (I am a little anxious). I know I am doing the right thing but I think every one must be feeling the same anxiety.”

Soon after her divorce, she just left a message on her vlog that read, “And the divorce through…Rajeev will always be Ziana’s father. He can meet Ziana whenever he wants to.” The day after her divorce, Charu took Ziana to meet Rajeev’s parents at their house in Mumbai.

Rajeev Sen had announced his divorce from Charu on social media. He had written, “There are no goodbyes! Just two people who just couldn’t hold on to each other. Love will stay. We will always remain mom and dad to our daughter.”

Charu and Rajeev married in 2019 and welcomed Ziana in 2021. They tried to give their marriage another chance last year, but things didn’t work out and they ended up going their separate ways.

Charu had earlier shared that she wishes for Ziana to see her parents respecting each other. She told ETimes, “I feel it is better this way that we both are co-parenting Ziana. I want her daughter to see us both respecting and behaving well towards each other. I don’t want Ziana to see Rajiv and me sharing a relationship where we both are not happy and it becomes toxic for her as well.”
