Bigg Boss OTT 2 has seen many fights and friendships but no love story as of now. The only whiff of romance that audiences saw in the show was between Falaq Naaz and Avinash Sachdev. The latter had even confessed that he strongly feels for her, but Falaq shrugged it off saying she is not ready for a relationship as of now. On Sunday, she was evicted from the Salman Khan-hosted reality show, and Avinash was seen getting emotional, missing her.
Post her elimination, the Sasural Simar Ka actor spoke to indianexpress.com and discussed her relationship with Avinash. She also addressed the recent news about how Avinash has dated her sister Shafaq Naaz in the past.

Dismissing that she ‘friendzoned’ Avinash, Falaq said that if someone is together 24 hours every day, a bond tends to develop. Also, they both stood by each other what may have been the situation in the game. “I also believe that if a person is good, you do tend to start liking them. I know myself, there is no chance someone may not like me. And Avinash too is a great human being. I don’t want to be hasty about such things and I honestly told Avinash that I need time to understand and think about it.
She added, “My priorities are also very different. I have lived my life fulfilling responsibilities and now want to live for myself. I think we both respected each other’s take and understood that we need to wait and explore this bond. Just because there were cameras and it’s a show doesn’t mean I would say instantly to get eyeballs. That’s not the kind of person I am, and neither is Avinash.”
After her elimination, Avinash Sachdev was seen telling housemates that he will rush immediately to meet Falaq Naaz. Blushing about the same, she said, “Bilkul woh toh hona hi hai, immediately milna (Of course that will happen. We will meet immediately).” When prodded if dating him is in the cards, Falaq continued to just smile, hinting that feelings are definitely mutual.
As we brought up the reports about Avinash having dated her sister Shafaq Naaz a few years ago, Falaq said it would be juvenile to compete about who’s dating home. She added that Avinash did not speak about it as it’s a very personal matter, and she is yet to talk to Shafaq about it too. “We are not in school that we will fight that he’s come to me after dating you. It sounds really wrong and petty. Whenever I meet Avinash, we will discuss it like mature people. People evolve with age and time, and what they had is very different from this. We all have seen so much in the past years and have changed as people too. I don’t think we should be making this an issue. Also, people do move on in life, everyone deserves that.”
Falaq Naaz, Avinash Sachdev and Jad Hadid were in the bottom three and all other housemates picked Falaq for not putting in enough effort to win the game. This led to her exit, which in the actor’s words is ‘unfair’ but she has solace that audiences did not vote her out. Also, with Salman Khan appreciating her game, she added that it felt like winning the trophy.
