Actor Karanveer Mehra entered Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 18 after lifting Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 trophy. On Sunday, he saw his journey on Salman Khan’s reality show come to an end as he was declared the winner of the show. He defeated Vivian Dsena, along with other finalists Chum Darang, Eisha Singh, and Avinash Mishra. While Vivian Dsena was declared the first runner-up, Rajat Dalal was the second runner-up.

From day one, Karanveer Mehra put a strong foot forward and was quite entertaining on the show. There were various instances where Karanveer went wrong, but he quickly progressed to becoming a driving force in the game. He was so strong that even Farah Khan announced that Bigg Boss 18 looked like it was the Karanveer Mehra show.

While Karanveer’s clashes with Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal were a highlight of the season, his fun stance with Shilpa Shirodkar and Chum Darang was also quite loved by viewers.

Earlier in a conversation with SCREEN, Karanveer Mehra had revealed the real reason why he participated in Bigg Boss Season 18. He had said, “The kind of fame and popularity this show exudes, and the reach it has, is why I wanted to be a part of it. Also, I have this fear that Salman sir would just turn around and say one day that he wouldn’t host the show anymore. So it’s better to be on the show when he is doing it.”
