While Ankita Lokhande’s fight with Aishwarya Sharma is adding drama to Bigg Boss 17, her discussions around former boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput has struck a chord with many. After opening up about their breakup, the Pavitra Rishta actor in the latest episode spoke highly about the late actor, and even called him family.
Ankita was sitting with Abhishek Kumar in the garden area when she mentioned how his physique reminded her of Sushant. When he mentioned that they also have a similar journey, Ankita said that he never had a temper issue like him. “Bohot shaant tha (He was very composed).” She then went on to speak highly about him and how passionate he was about his work. “Sushant was hardworking, and dedicated to the next level. He would be very involved and was a perfectionist. I am very easy-go-lucky, but he would dive deep into things,” she shared.
The actor also shared how Sushant Singh Rajput would get affected by others’ opinions about him. She also said that while he cared about everyone else, no one ever stood up for him. “Woh ghus jaata tha jo bhi usko chahiye hota tha. Thoda sa bhi upar neeche ho jaata tha, he would get affected (He would get too involved in everything. And if things didn’t work as per expectations, he would get affected). He would get affected by what people are talking about him on Twitter. He would think about people a lot. It was very normal because he was from a small town. Itni jagah jaake naam kamana is not easy (It’s not easy to become so popular). ”
As Ankita Lokhande got teary-eyed remembering him, Abhishek apologised to her for bringing up him. She cut him to say she feels ‘proud’ talking about him. “Uske baare me baat karna achha hi lagta hai (I like talking about him). I feel proud of him. Very proud. Family hai,” she added.
She also mentioned that husband Vicky Jain was also a friend to Sushant, and he stood by her after his demise. “Ab duniya se hi koi chala jaye… Koi khada nahi hua uske liye. Vicky ne bohot acche se handle ki cheezein. Toh main kar payi (What would one do when someone dies? No on estood up for him. Vicky handled everything so well, this is why I could do something).”
Ankita Lokhande has entered Bigg Boss 17 with Vicky Jain, and the two are touted to be one of the strongest in the season.
