Actress Ashnoor Kaur was recently evicted from Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19, after she hit fellow contestant Tanya Mittal during the ticket to the finale task. Post her exit, Ashnoor on Sunday interacted with her fans through an Instagram live.
Ashnoor started her Instagram live by saying, “It’s been 14 weeks since I wasn’t able to talk to you guys. Of course, you all saw me, but I wasn’t able to connect with you. A lot happened inside; it was a sweet journey. Thank you for all your well wishes and concern. I came live today to let you all know that I am doing fine. I know it was an abrupt eviction. I am much better now. I am very much at peace seeing the love and meeting my mom and dad.”
“A few days back, Pranit, I, and GK were talking about how a few days are left and what we would do. But it’s okay, what has happened was destined to happen, maybe it was written. It feels bad. I am a little sad about it, but I was also overwhelmed by all the love you all gave me,” Ashnoor added.
Ashnoor also went on to confirm that she will attend the grand finale on December 7.
When a fan asked if her eviction was unfair, Ashnoor Kaur said, “We cannot change what happened, it’s okay. Things happen, life happens, we go on, and the show goes on. I would have loved to stay till the finale.” Ashnoor also went on to say that she wants someone from her friends, Pranit More or Gaurav Khanna, to win the title.
Ashnoor Kaur’s eviction from Bigg Boss 19 has been called unfair by several fans on social media. In fact, ex-contestant Sumbul Touqeer also shared a story on Instagram, pointing out how the makers have let go of bigger issues this season, but thought this action needed an eviction.
On the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan pulled up Ashnoor Kaur and said, “Ashnoor, you have already explained what happened to everyone in the house. We heard those and hoped that you understood that you were going wrong. But no, you kept on getting more aggressive and arrogant. That ship has sailed a long time ago. Tanya could have broken her jaw, Ashnoor. There was no hesitation from your end. You were very cold. In this rage, you have beaten her and not apologized. So, now we have some rules in this house, and unfortunately, we have to follow them. Raising your hand at someone or trying to hurt them is not cool in the Bigg Boss house. This is ‘intention to harm’, sadly, action will be taken on this. Ashnoor, you broke one of the most important rules in the house. So we are sorry to say this, but you cannot proceed with the show. Your journey is stopped here; you get banished from this house.”
