Rajeev Sen, entrepreneur and Sushmita Sen’s brother, is often in the news regarding his personal life. His separation from wife and TV actor Charu Asopa frequently hits headlines. However, now, Rajeev is trying to shift focus on his professional life instead as he has recently made a short film called Hasrat, marking his first steps into the entertainment industry.
Speaking about handling his life and the pressures that come with it since he is in the public eye constantly, Sen told Times of India that good and bad days are a part and parcel of everyone’s life, but ‘one just needs to learn to steer it the right way.’ When probed about how does he deal with failure of any kind, Rajeev said, “Setbacks of any sort need to be dealt with gracefully. It is important to let go of things which hold no purpose.”
As far as his journey in the entertainment world is concerned, Rajeev doesn’t seem too bothered as he is practical with his approach towards it, adding, “It is a game of chess. I feel even without a Godfather life here can be handled well.” Sen said that it is helpful if you know someone, but even if you don’t, it is not ‘impossible’ to make a living here.
Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa had tied the knot in 2019. Soon after their marriage, there was trouble in paradise as reports began appearing about Asopa claiming that Sen was a negligent partner and father. Sen refuted these claims and since then, the two seem to have reconciled enough to keep things cordial between them. Although they have not gotten back together, they are sometimes seen making appearances on each other’s YouTube channel.
