Popular YouTuber TTF Vasan, a Coimbatore-based biker, has met with an accident on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway while attempting a bike stunt. Vasan sustained a fracture in his hands and is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Ambattur, Chennai.
Vasan, who was earlier booked for rash driving by Tamil Nadu police, is yet again facing criticism online after the accident. While many have wished the upcoming actor a speedy recovery, a few have asked Vasan to take it as a lesson. Director Rathna Kumar of Meyaadha Maan fame, who has co-written Vijay’s Leo, has reacted to the accident on Twitter.
He wrote, “Please don’t encourage these kinds of daredevil bike stunts. If you are that much passionate do it on the race track. What if some general public gets killed because of your cheap thrills? Get well soon. Rethink & Relive.”
Similarly, many have reacted to the accident on Twitter and called out Vasan for being a repeat offender.
TTF Vasan has a huge fanbase online. During his birthday celebrations last year, thousands of fans gathered at an event leading to a stampede-like situation. He was warned by the police department to not organise such events without prior permission. Later, he was booked for rash driving, and his bike was seized by the authorities.
Vasan recently announced that he will be making his debut as an actor in a film titled Manjal Veeran. The movie, directed by Chellam, will also star Cool Suresh.
