Vignesh Shivan hints at Shah Rukh Khan-Nayanthara romance in Jawan: ‘I heard there is some romance between both of you’

After much speculation about who will be the female lead in Shah Rukh Khan‘s Jawan, it was revealed that Nayanthara will play a pivotal role in the film. The actor also has a good screen time in the movie’s recently released prevue. However, details about Nayanthara’s role have remained undisclosed until today. And it is none other than the actor’s director husband, Vignesh Shivan, who has finally divulged some details about Nayanthara’s character in the film.

Earlier, Vignesh had taken to Instagram to hail Jawan‘s director Atlee for “creating a banger for his Bollywood debut”. He also extended congratulations to Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and other cast members of the film. SRK shared a screenshot of Vignesh’s Instagram story and wrote a heartfelt message for him. King Khan wrote, “@VigneshShivN thank u for all the love. #Nayanthara is awesome…but oh who am I telling this…you toh already know!!! But Hubby, beware, she has now learnt some major kicks & punches!!”

Elated to receive a response from SRK, Vignesh hinted that fans will witness a romance between Nayanthara and King Khan in Jawan. He wrote, “Soooo kind of you sir Yes sir being very careful but I also heard there is some good romance between the both of you in the movie , that she has learnt from the king of romance , so already cherishing that with the happiness of such a dream Debut with YOU #SRK the #KingofHearts #Badshaah #Jawan @Atlee_dir gonna be a massive global #Blockbuster.”

Jawan’s prevue was released on July 10 and it has garnered over 50 million views on YouTube till now. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra and Sanya Malhotra in important roles, along with Deepika Padukone who will be seen in a special appearance. Jawan will hit theatres on September 7.
