Suriya 42 title to be unveiled on this date

Studio Green is doing all it can to pitch its upcoming production venture, Suriya 42, as the next big thing in Tamil cinema. The makers have so far only released the concept teaser of the film that promises a full-blown fantasy drama. On Tuesday, the makers decided to reveal the title announcement date of the film. Sharing a new concept poster, the makers announced the title of the movie will be revealed on April 16 at 9:05 am.

Talking about Suriya 42, producer Gnanvel Raja of Studio Green had said, “After seeing the motion poster of the film by the director, I understood that I am not producing a normal film. This film is made on a budget that’s thrice the amount of Suriya’s biggest film so far.”

He also revealed that even Suriya doesn’t know the full truth about the budget of the film as he is sceptical about taking such a huge risk. “So, we hid the budget from him. However, he knows from seeing the sets. He understands that we are up to doing something big visually.”

The teaser of Suriya 42 will be released in May, according to Gnanvel Raja.

The film will be released in 10 languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The producers are going all out for the fantasy film, which is being touted as ‘a mighty valiant saga’.

It is confirmed that Bollywood actor Disha Patani is making her Tamil debut with Suriya 42, and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film.
