Sivakarthikeyan undergoes major physical transformation for Kamal Haasan’s production venture SK21. Watch video

Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan is the latest to jump on the bandwagon of actors beefing up for their films. While stars becoming muscular has been a trend forever, with the release of Baahubali and other such pan-Indian movies, more actors have become ultra-fit. And, now, Sivakarthikeyan has significantly put on muscles for his upcoming film, SK21.

The film, produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), is directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, who is known for his movie Rangoon. The official X handle of the production house shared the behind-the-scenes video of Sivakarthikeyan sweating it out to become ultra-fit for the role.

The caption read, “Hard work-grit and a “can- do” mentality still matters great asset now on display…#HeartsonFire.” Along with the clip, the makers also announced that the teaser of the film along with its title will be unveiled on February 16.

Going by the video, it looks like Siva is playing the role of an army officer or a cop as he is seen training with guns. His hairstyle also hints the same.

Other than Sivakarthikeyan, the film has Sai Pallavi in the lead role. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for the movie, which has set a huge expectations among the actor’s fans.

Meanwhile, RKFI is also producing two other projects including Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life and Silambarasan’s untitled movie with Desingh Periyasamy.
