Siddharth’s Chithha gets release date and new poster, rumoured girlfriend-actor Aditi Rao Hydari asks ‘Who dat?!’

Siddharth’s multi-lingual film Chithha, directed by SU Arun Kumar, is all set for release in theatres. On Sunday, the makers announced that the film will release on September 28, and also shared a new poster of Siddharth. In the poster, the actor can be seen as a middle-aged man with a serious look. The new poster of Chithha also got a reaction from Siddharth’s rumoured girlfriend-actor Aditi Rao Hydari.

Siddharth reportedly plays the role of an uncle in the film. On the actor’s birthday this year, the movie was announced by Kamal Haasan.

While actors Jayam Ravi and Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the new poster of the film featuring Siddharth in a new look on Twitter, actor Aditi Rao Hydari posted the look on her Instagram handle. Sethupathi tweeted, “#Siddharth in and as CHITHHA . An SU Arunkumar picture. In Cinemas worldwide Sep 28. RED GIANT MOVIES RELEASE. Congrats team.”

Hydari shared the poster and wrote, “Who dat?! Siddharth in & as CHITHHA In Cinemas worldwide Sep 28. A RED GIANT MOVIES release Directed by SU Arun Kumar #etakiEntertainment #SiddharthAsChithha #CHITHHAfromSEP28.”

Chithha also marks Siddharth’s production house Etaki Entertainment’s fourth feature film after Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, Jil Junk Juk, and Aval, all starring Siddharth.

Details regarding the plot and cast of the film are yet to be announced.
