Superstars Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth define the word legendary for their fans and for them to come together is a merry sight for fans. On Thursday, the two actors met briefly while shooting for their respective films in the same studio.
While, Haasan was shooting for Indian 2, Rajinikanth was around for the shoot for Thalaivar 170. The actors spoke briefly before returning to work. The pictures were posted by Lyca Productions, the banner behind both these big-budgeted films.
The caption of the photos revealed details about Haasan and Rajinikanth’s meeting. “The 2 unparalleled LEGENDS of Indian Cinema ‘Ulaganayagan’ @ikamalhaasan & ‘Superstar’ @rajinikanth sharing a lighter moment while shooting for their respective films Indian-2 & Thalaivar170 in the same studio after 21 years! And we @LycaProductions are super happy & proud to be producing both the films!”
Netizens were elated to see the two superstars together and expressed their joy on social media. An X user wrote, “Two legends together”, while another one wrote, “Decades may pass but the love they have for each other remains the same.
Lucky to witness such Legendary Friendship”. Several fans called the pictures an “eyefest”.
Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 170 also stars Amitabh Bachchan. In October, the actor was in Mumbai to shoot portions of his film with Amitabh as he wrote, “THE THALAIVAR .. !! What an honour”
Kamal’s other film Kalki 2898 AD also stars Big B and is slated to release next year. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also features Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles.
