Celebrations for Nayanthara’s birthday have continued long after November 18. The actor turned 39 on November 18 and on Thursday, almost two weeks later, she has received an extravagant gift from her husband and director Vignesh Shivan. The director surprised her with a luxury Mercedes-Benz Maybach, a gesture that Nayanthara called the “most sweetest birthday gift.” Sharing the moment on Instagram, she thanked her husband for the lavish present.
She wrote, “WELCOME HOME YOU BEAUTY😇😇❤️❤️ @wikkiofficial My dear husband ,Thank u for the most sweetest Birthday gift 🧡🧡 Love you🧡🧡.”
Although the specific model of the car wasn’t mentioned in the Instagram post, two models of Mercedes-Benz Maybach are sold in India. These include Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS and Maybach S-Class and each of them cost over Rs 3 crore.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in June 2022, attended by stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth. Adding to their joy, Vignesh announced the arrival of their twin boys through surrogacy in October 2022. Recently, the couple celebrated their twins, Uyir and Ulag’s first birthday in Kuala Lumpur on September 27, 2023.
In terms of Nayanthara’s career, 2023 saw the release of Jawan, which turned out to be a massive blockbuster, while her other film, Iraivan, didn’t fare well at the box office. Her eagerly anticipated film, Annapoorani, is slated to hit theatres on November 1.
Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivan is immersed in the pre-production phase of his upcoming film, featuring Love Today actor and director Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead.
