The Tamil film industry is buzzing with excitement as director Aadhik Ravichander has unveiled a striking new poster of Ajith Kumar from the much-anticipated film Good Bad Ugly. The poster, released via Ravichander’s official X account, showcases Ajith in a uber-cool avatar, further heightening the anticipation for the movie’s release.
The publicist of Ajith, Suresh Chandra also shared the picture and wrote, “Expect the unexpected.” The poster surely is unexpected from Ajith, an actor who is careful about his onscreen image. Contrary to his recent films, which were didactic, Ajith seems to have returned to his Mankatha days where he never shied away from being the bad guy on screen.
The new poster has three versions of Ajith, befitting the title, and each one is seen striking a different pose. The middle is calm, the one on the right is seen holding the brass knuckles which was part of the first look poster, and the third one on the left, which has intrigued fans, is flipping the bird (the image is blurred though). Good Bad Ugly marks a significant departure from Ajith’s previous ‘goody good’ roles, and Aadhik Ravichander’s enthusiasm suggests that the film will explore new dimensions of the actor’s versatility
In his tweet, Ravichander not only shared the captivating poster but also expressed his admiration for Ajith and reflected on the experience of collaborating with the star. “Working with Ajith Kumar sir has been a transformative experience. His dedication, charisma, and passion for cinema are truly inspiring. This film will showcase a side of him that fans have never seen before,” Ravichander wrote.
The response to the poster on social media has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have commented on Ajith’s commanding presence and the intriguing vibe of the poster, which hints at a compelling storyline. The cast and other details of the film are yet to be revealed. However, the movie is already on floors even as Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi is still in the post-production phase.
